ABOUT US
Empire Bay Physie is a brand-new club with deep roots in the Physie world. While we may be just starting out, our team brings decades of experience, passion, and love for this empowering sport. The club was founded by Brooke Riddle, who has been part of the Physie community since the age of seven. She’s joined by her sisters, Kylie and Corrina, her nieces, and a treasured family friend and former Physie Champion - all of whom share a lifelong connection to the sport.
Bringing everything together behind the scenes is Bensville local mum, Faye Ferris - the business powerhouse managing our administration, sponsorships, communications, and club operations. Her dedication ensures that everything runs smoothly and professionally.
For generations, Physie has been more than just a sport for our families - it’s been a way to stay active, build confidence, foster lifelong friendships and create cherished memories. Now, we’re excited to share that same sense of community, connection and joy with families across Empire Bay, Bensville and surrounding areas.

FROM A DREAM TO REALITY...
"It was always our sister Brooke’s dream to revive our first Physie club, and here we are after our very first club competition at the original Empire Bay Physical Culture Club. To think that my own daughters will now play such a big part in this club is so exciting. I can’t wait to see our incredible community come together to support and celebrate this exciting new chapter." - Kylie Harper (#23)
"Growing up, money was tight, but Mum discovered Physie—an affordable sport we could all enjoy as a family. She loved the sense of community it created, while we cherished the friendships, competitions, and memories it gave us. Physie is truly a unique sport, one that the whole family can share. Watching my niece step onto the National floor at the same age I was for my first nationals was an unforgettable and special moment."- Corrina McMahon (#22)
"Once I start talking about Physie, I can’t stop! There are just so many amazing things to share about this sport. The health benefits are endless, and as a mum, it’s something I look forward to each week, something that gives me goals to work toward. It’s more than just dance; it’s a chance to connect with friends, share life’s ups and downs, and then dance the night away. Physie offers so much more than meets the eye. Watching the over 70's at Masters last year just ignited my passion to share the love of this sport even more!" - Brooke Riddle (#24)
Diann Meadham is a former Physie Champion whose Mother co-founded and ran Padstow Heights Physical Culture Club...
After an accomplished career as a school teacher, Diann is thrilled to embark on this exciting new chapter with us. Her passion for Physie is matched only by her extensive experience, which she generously shares with our community. Known for her clear and confident teaching style, Diann brings a strong sense of purpose and a wealth of expertise, fostering confidence and a drive for excellence in those around her. We are confident her contributions will be invaluable, enriching our club as we continue to grow together.
"Physie has profoundly shaped my life, offering personal growth, confidence, discipline, and perseverance. Performing at zone and national levels has brought personal success, while the sport's greatest gifts have been lifelong friendships and a cherished sense of community. With gratitude and passion, I am now stepping into the role of Associate, dedicated to inspiring others to discover their potential, embrace their strength, and create lasting memories." - Diann Meadham
